  • "Oh these are so much better" -- dude, why don't you just go a buy a car if a comfortable sitting position was what you cared about... They're fun to ride, that's the only reason to get em. Certainly not for long distance travel, not even the dedicated bikes for that are decent at what they're ment to do.

  • I did just under 100 miles yesterday on my R6 an I admit my wrists were killing me, my legs an balls were cooked with the heat an slammed against the tank by stiff suspension and I was jealous of my cousin on his MT09 with his comfortable riding position and much relaxed ergonomics😢😂

  • Good content guys! I’m not completely sold that nakeds are more comfortable as it is a trade-off when you are on the highway as a naked becomes more uncomfortable with that wind blast on your chest and head. I prefer to have the fairings and windshield protection (let’s admit nakeds just don’t look right with aftermarket wind protection). I suppose it is it is a compromise if your looking for a performance bike and want to run a long distance.

  • Got rid of my 2012 CBR1000 for a 2016 Yamaha Xsr900. I swear I've never had so much fun! I miss the CBR on occasion, but after 10 years of riding experience, I feel like I can take the average rider of a liter bike on my xsr900 on the street. I've done a track day just a handful of times and it's the only place where the fun factor of the CBR (Sport) can reach what I get every day on the xsr on the street. If I get a bigger garage in the future, I might get another sport alongside the standard I ride now but the sport cant be my one and only. Never again. Im happy! :)

  • Yea so glad I passed up a gsxr600 for a Street Triple R 765. As much as I would have loved to have a 600cc sport bike the insurance was outrageous in Ontario (like 500 a month) and the price and stuff it came with was just too good to beat and it fit me so well. I mean it came with a usb outlet under the pillion! And for having the same tail end as the Daytona it has tons of trunk space which comes in handy. And can't forget that quick shifter, man those things are fuckin fun to use! No clutch, don't even have to let off the throttle. Uninterrupted acceleration. And it came with fully adjustable suspension which for the price and size of bike is pretty damn good. I aboslutely love the sound of the 3 cylinder engine, such character. It sounds so good I don't even think you really need to get an aftermarket exhaust but I don't really care for the looks of the exhaust block. Once I put on of Scorpions carbon cans on there, get my fender eliminator and LED turn signals it will be complete. I hate the ugly fender it has cause it spoils what is such a good looking back end.

  • I ride an old (but sweet) ´07 Fireblade and felt pretty much like the two of you on the R6 and 636 until I swapped the pegs for 30 mm lower ones for cruising. Can´t even begin to describe the difference, would never swap it for a naked bike, and for those track days, it only takes 5 minutes to swap them for the higher ones. Keep them great videos coming guys :-)

  • It is no wrong or right to pick between sport or naked bikes; it is just what you preferred to ride at what occasionally; I own Z900 and R6, I ride both bikes, and I love both. But honestly, for longer ride, Z900 feel more comfortable, but when back on R6 which make me smile...

  • So much truth in this. I've owned 4 super sport litre bikes in my life and find myself gravitating to nakeds and sport tourers now. Fast enough on the road, much more comfortable, more affordable ownership costs and quite simply, much more useable day to day.

  • God damn the new updated R6s are sexy, I love the look of the tail with the space on either side that lets air through, it looks like its going 100mph just sitting there. If it wasn't for the INSANE insurance rates here in Ontario I would have gotten an r6 to start with instead of having to upgrade and waste money but I still paying 290 bucks a month for insurance on a cbr300r with an m1. Most places wouldn't even insure you which is so stupid. How am I supposed to learn? Do they think just because I have an m2 I'm a better rider? What if I didn't actually ride between when I got the m1 and finished to a full M license like a lot of people do? Just so stupid.

  • Really takes away a lot of the fun of riding when you look like Forest Gump on your tall gay goofy confused bike. No offense, but those 2 naked bikes are about the most silly looking things ive ever seen on the road. I love a lot of cafe racer style builds, very naked and style for days some even built with modern sport bikes made very comfortable and look super rad. But after seeing this vid Im running faster than ever away from whatever the heck these two guys were derping around on. respectfully. thank you for the vid and thank you for not convincing me to get anything like the naked bikes in this vid.

  • I traded my Vulcan 900 on a Z900 3 weeks ago & I'm luvin' it. Plus I got it for nearly $4000 off the new price as it was a 2019 ex-demo bike with only 670kms on the clock. Test rode a GSXR600 a few years ago, I was 57 at the time & within only a short distance I knew my back & wrists wouldn't handle it on longer rides so I decided to leave the supersport bikes to the younger riders.

  • *I hate to say this but I’ve been riding for 10 years now, when I started riding I always rode the loudest , most uncomfortable sport bikes and super sports and would ride them on LONG road trips ! I now have 1 CBR 1000rr and a cbr 600rr and both have stock exhaust (I prefer quite now) and I find myself riding both less and less and I’m starting to realize that I too grew out of the “sport bike phase” next up is upright bikes then Harleys I guess* :(

  • This is an even better idea: get a used liter super bike with low mileage for 1/3 the sticker price and modify the ergonomics to your heart's content. You don't have to settle for budget suspension, breaks and handling.

The positing on the Kawasaki is comfy enough, power is fine and price between the two isn’t much. A topic you didn’t touch on is wind blast. Street Triple RS is the worst bike I’ve touched for wind blast. Il not own another naked bike again

  • as someone who has a zx-6r, i've spent almost an entire day riding and just taking breaks when i need gas which is around 200km, i have minimal to no issues. i legitimately have scoliosis in my lower back as well, im prone to back pain, and even then im not dead at the end of the day and trying to sell my bike. Bikes are all personal preference and what suits you, choosing to not get one because two guys said they were uncomfortable is more or less poor decision making.

  • Suck it up you pair of Cindy's. Back in the day we used to courier on sportsbikes 10+hours a day all week then still go to play after work in the evenings and weekends. You don't know what pain is, hundreds of miles through sun, rain, wind and snow in the same day , running up and down tower block staircases in full gear carrying all manner of packages. If I hear another rider bitch'n about their wrist or back hurts, I'll give back my bus pass, dig up my lid and come out of retirement.

  • I personally am much more comfy on a sportbike. My back hurts more sitting straight up with little back support vs a tank pad that I can lean forward on. I know at least a few others who feel the same. Feel like your review is a bit subjective.
