Have you tried giving him treats after he listen to you? Food is always a key to get pets to do what you want them to do. Also included patience and firm reinforcement. 😺 Make the training a game. You got to keep the training up daily.

Maybe you. An leash train him and bring Tan outside for walks. My cat Aki, wa also sooo active, he dove me crazy. Now that he is 3 years old he is much more calm. The vet told me that after the age of 3 the cats tend to calm and so was.
Cats are not humans or dogs. They don’t need a leash and a walk outdoors.
They feel threatened and anxious if they are outside because everything is unfamiliar
