  • You know, sometimes you feel, this goes much further beyond anything you've seen before. You feel ... effing elated... elated is the right word. You just marvel. I don't think I've seen anything like this, and believe me, I've been in the Scania workshops for decades.

  • G'day Allen! 👋 I've only recently discovered your channel, but im so glad i did!! I've been literally binging on your extensive video collection since, in between my own workshop time of course (i just restore motorcycles, nothing as amazing as what you do). Your 5ltr V-twin and the 4cyl Kawa 2-banger are absolutely incredible. And the Dodge V10 build was absolutely mind-boggling!! 🙊😱😍 Are you a machinist? or are a machinist as well as a mechanical engineer? ... because thats the vibe I'm getting from your epic creations. I also enjoy how thorough you are, and also your creative and ingenious solutions to certain design speedhumps along the way. Cheers mate! 🍻

  • Having seen some of your builds, I'm now dreaming of building a V8 from two CB750Four's (sohc), including Wiseco's 888cc big bore kit (Used to have one). American historians can appreciate that I'd end up with 1776cc 😁 I also dream about building a fatty bobber frame with Flat Head Power's modernized monster knucklehead engine, (I used to meet them doing classic sidecar racing with another 750four in Sweden) but ofc, now that I've seen a 5liter twin.... My WLA feels a bit tiny.

    • I’m sorry about that, there is usually one skipable add at the beginning. I hope you realise this is how we make a bit of money for making the video. A typical 10 min video takes me about 15 hrs to film, edit and voice over, proof watch several times, and upload, probably nearer 20h in total. I hope you continue to watch my videos otherwise I won’t be able to make new ones 🙁

  • I don't like it, it's a montage, how many motors did you cut? cut them by hand and match the carter? How lucky you are! How did the crankcase and crankshaft, did it break 3 more engines?

  • I want to say, WOW.. This man is amazing, but I am held back by a little bit of him PURPOSELY displaying things that he does obviously to Spite or bother someone. I wish it was a man on a mission to Build, rather than a man on a mission to One Up... P.S. Motors go 100K plus miles, This will look great and run to the show, But hit it hard like a Manu bike and you have a Pile of Parts.

  • Hi Allen, this is a little off topic but...what did you use to restore the bright metal surfaces on you milling machine? I’m about to start on a 1940 Thiel where the cast iron is brown (more of a patina than rust). Not sure on how aggressively go at it to get to bright metal (but it is very very resistant to wire wool). Pete
