    • Probably easier to rebuild one from scratch. The old one has a lot of redundant wires. Or use an m unit

For The BoldFor The Bold5 bulan yang lalu
    • For The Bold, where did you guys get the full wiring harness for that bike? I’m having difficulties locating a complete new one.

J MotoJ Moto5 bulan yang lalu
    • I don’t think that would even cover the cost of a decent spray job and frame powder coating unfortunately

  • Nice bike, like the homage to Warriors But I would prefer to see some quality mechanical improvement not only cosmetic. It was hard to determine exactly what was done by watching the time lapse, but it seems like the engine was put right back as stock; I don't just mean tuning. And those tires on asphalt would be horrible, even as a show bike, why sacrifice function over form. Anyway, nice build in a garage, did most of my builds in a shed or the street.

    Fam FamFam FamBulan Yang lalu
    • The tkc80 tyres are actually really good. No vibrations and corners fine. Highly recommended. The engine was just set back as new. New crank shell bearings, piston rings and honed.

  • Hey! I'm building a 74 cb750 and my rear subframe where the hoop would go does not angle up like yours. What tricks did you use? What are the exact measurements for the hoop from the front of the shock bolt?(it looks like that's where you measured from) I seriously need that rear cowl!

Brett BennettBrett Bennett2 bulan yang lalu
    • The 74 would be an sohc so the straighter frame would be on it. The kick up was introduced in 79. You can easily buy a brat style hoop with a kick up.

  • This is one brilliant looking bike and definitely a great deal of time, effort and some quality new accessories have helped to make it so! Well done! One thing I don't understand however and it is not limited to just this build, is why add scrambler items such as knobbly tyres and then create a seat no thicker than a baby's nappy and leave out other gravel road (Scrambler) items such as front fork gators and mud guards? Like I said this is becoming quite a regular thing with cafe racer builds and I definitely don't want to put negative spin on what is truly a beautiful bike! Thanks for the video it's absolutely inspiring !

Robert ZRobert Z6 bulan yang lalu
    • It’s more of a style thing. A more aggressive stance and these tyres are dual use off and on road. They’re actually comfortable on road and handle well. And we’re never going to be scraping the footpegs on these bikes 👍🏻

    JLBodyCareJLBodyCare6 bulan yang lalu
    • Brat style is a flat seat without the cowl and scrambler is a high rise exhaust as not to scrape the floor. Yes the tyres are an odd choice for cafe racer.

For The BoldFor The Bold6 bulan yang lalu
    • @For The Bold I thought that among the main characteristics of the cafe racer style are the tyres, the seat and the exhast pipe. So it seemed to me that the bike was in the middle of Scrambler and Brat Style. But, again, I do not have knowledge. Again, it's a lovely job!

    LisaviveraLisavivera7 bulan yang lalu
    • They’re designed to be on and off road. They’re perfectly steady for corners. Have you ever ridden on TKC80 tyres? They’re a twinduro set and are surprisingly smooth on the roads.
