JAN 2021 UPDATE-
JBL just came out with $150 waterproof (1PX7) earbuds, with a 7 hour battery life, ANC, ambient awareness, fins for more secure fit, and a loop for the keychain. Basically the best of both worlds from the Jabras and Jaybirds. Buy them here using my link if you do get them:

OCT 2020 UPDATE - Jabra has released a new update that adds active noise cancellation to the 75t elites for free! It's pretty good, not the best ANC out there but it does work to a serviceable degree. Love how they continue to update the 75ts for free, great support for current products!
MAY 2020 UPDATE: FYI Jabra released their May 2020 update the day before I posted this video. I talk about the new features in the last section on sound quality.

At 16 minutes 58 seconds I accidentally say Jaybirds when I meant to say Jabras. So when I first put in the *Jabras* they fell out until I realized they needed a slight twist to make them snug.

  • No they have also ANC...

Asaf GAsaf G13 hari yang lalu
    • When this video was released theyl 75ts did not yet have that feature. As I mentioned in the description, their recent update in October added ANC. Apparently it's not as good as the 85ts but works great on my pair that I own (cancels out constant sounds like fans whirring, etc. Not so much voices but that's probably for the best safety wise).

    • JAN 2021 UPDATE: JBL just came out with $150 waterproof (1PX7) earbuds, with a 7 hour battery life, ANC, ambient awareness, fins for more securefit, and a loop for the keychain. Basically the best of both worlds from the Jabras and Jaybirds. Haven't test them yet obviously, but so far they seem to have the right specs. • I have been seeing a lot of bad reviews about the Jabra's reliability. I heard the earbuds will cut off or the volume will drop. Have you heard anything??

    • @1Life2Lift yea man you said it!! thank for your help really!!

Jeremy VasquezJeremy Vasquez13 hari yang lalu
    • Thanks my dude! I think you'll be happy with the Jabras. If they fall out of your ears (some people's ears just don't fit it seems) return them and go with the Jabra sports. I think you'll be happy with the 75ts unless you need the fin design for that extra security, which you won't know till you buy them anyways 🤷‍♂️

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift13 hari yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift the sport did put out an upgrade it has ambient awareness mode they call it "hear through" i think the Jabra has all I need and want I'm just scared of the reliability and fit. there isn't a lot of good videos about the jabra sport I'm still watching your video but I'm so subscribing you put in work!!

Jeremy VasquezJeremy Vasquez13 hari yang lalu
    • Hmm, interesting. They're both fully waterproof, both use the more secure fin design and the Sports offer a few other Bells and whistles (but no L/R earbud independence). I guess it comes down to whether you need the extra battery life that Vistas offer. Also I'll need to check but IIRC the Sports don't have the ambient awareness mode (for safety or ANC (unless they were updated like the 75ts were recently) like the 75ts (which are now cheaper than the Sports and the Vistas), but that's something the Jaybirds don't have anyways. Tough call.

    ns89jhns89jh24 hari yang lalu
    • Thanks! I actually did shoot quite a bit of footage of me running with both earbuds in on the treadmill, but it didn't really add much to the video (other than me shirtless 😝) so I left most of it out. I opted to use some close up shots of me outdoors though just so people could see how they looked in natural lighting. P.S. Yes I did sell my Jaybirds, but I kept the Jabras and they are still working flawlessly 8 months later :)

  • The Sidetone on the Jabra Elite 75T had no difference to me. I can't hear myself so it sounds like i have my fingers in my ears while talking to someone on the phone.

Mike MalloyMike Malloy24 hari yang lalu
    • I am also not a fan of the side tone, they should try to improve on that (I think I remember reading the 85ts had an improved Sidetone but honestly not sure why they don't just let you use the already excellent Hearthrough instead).

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift24 hari yang lalu
  • Ref Bluetooth 5.0 cutout. I have Jabra Elite 75T paired with a Samsung Galaxy S8 which has bluetooth 5.0. If I'm walking with my phone in my left hand the bluetooth signal would constantly cut out. I have to hold my phone in my right hand to keep the audio from cutting in/out. Very annoying since I'm left handed.

Mike MalloyMike Malloy24 hari yang lalu
    • Huh, weird. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the Jabras work flawlessly. I would return them, possibly get another pair, they may have sent you something faulty. Mine literally works through a wall (drywall, mind you. Thicker walls like that of my garage cause dropouts).

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift24 hari yang lalu
  • Nice detailed reviews, have you reviewed the anker soundcore liberty 2 pros? I have those and was having issues with the bluetooth connection but otherwise love the sound quality.

Mike SocciMike Socci24 hari yang lalu
    • Well I'm sure you know this but FYI if you got your Ankers through Amazon you should be able to get a full refund if you aren't fully satisfied. Then you can put that towards the Jabras. If they don't fit your ears perfectly try going with the Jaybirds (they have L/R independence and the fin keeps them in no matter what). The Jabras fit great in my ear but everybody's ear is different. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to leave another comment here, I got your back! Haha. Cheers!

    • @1Life2Lift thanks they are ipx 4 so ok for gym. No hearthrough, and they are pretty much only 1 device at a time. Thanks for the help I might go pick up.a pair of the jabras.

Mike SocciMike Socci24 hari yang lalu
    • Hey Mike, my thoughts on the Ankers: Pros: *Purported battery life of 7 hours (this seems to be a generous estimate based on what I've read) *L/R independence (unlike Jabras master/slave) Cons: *No waterproofing (dealbreaker for me as I noted in video) I wish they at least would list an IP rating to see how water resistant they are *No hearthrough / ambient awareness which is a real pleasure to have and it keeps you safe Also not sure on their connectivity/ pairing. Jabras connect to multiple devices no problem (i.e. my laptop and my phone) with syncing issues. Overall the Liberties are not bad considering their low price (sub $100) but for just another 30 or 40 bucks you get your dream features like on the Jaybirds /Jabras since they've really come down in price over the year (especially with the Jabra 85ts coming out, which I'm not very impressed by. Still think the 75t actives are the best / the ones to beat). Hope that helps! :)

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift24 hari yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift yes its tough to narrow it down, I appreciate people like you taking the time to offer detailed reviews it makes it easier. I was ready to return the soundcore because of Bluetooth connectivity issues but I unpaired other devices and so far so good, I'd like to keep them just wanted an idea for a replacement option if need be and under the 200 price point since I think its just bonkers to pay more than that. Had it down to bose sport, jaybird or jabra, and this review sealed the deal on jabra, the bose was bumped due to no equalizer in the app, I like to tweak my sound profile. Keep up the good work and let me know your take on the anker specs when you get a chance, thanks!

  • Jabra retention problem solved by SpinFit 360 eartips. Much much better than oem eartips. They are softer, more comfortable, and somehow clarify the sound somehow in adfition to buds staying put.

Scott MyattScott Myatt27 hari yang lalu
  • Completely disagree based solely on staying in my ear. Jabra failed completely, falling out just walking

Jerry BrownJerry Brown29 hari yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift I ended up with the JayBirds with the fins you mentioned. I've had the Bose Soundsoprts but had bluetooth issues so took them back. The new Bose sound great and fit great, just did not like the controls at all. It gets down to my ears not sized for many earbuds

Jerry BrownJerry Brown29 hari yang lalu
    • That's a bummer Jerry, everyone's ear is different though, both buds stayed in great on my ears. A kind suggestion: You might want to try something with a fin design like the Jaybirds. As I mentioned in the video, these don't fall out despite them not needing to be jammed tightly into the earhole like the Jabras. If all else fails consider an over the ear design, such as the PowerBeat Pros (or even the old school design of those blue BackBeat FITs I mentioned at the beginning. Sound quality isn't as good but the waterproofing is great). Also try using the different sized earbuds for the Jabras, I believe it comes with 3 sizes. One ear might even be a different size than the other, it's quite common. Best of luck Jerry! :)

    • Perfect! Haha. Glad I could help out just in time. It's funny how I made this video back in May but the Jabras are still the best headphones on the market. Since then they've come out with the 85Ts but they aren't as waterproof and they're more expensive. There's never been a better time to pick up the 75ts or Jaybirds. BTW if you do buy either one of these earbuds try using my links in the description so I get a small commission on them. Helps to support my channel :)

  • I have the Jabra 65 version which I think has the same dimensions of the 75, and I just can't get them to stay in. I prefer the wing tips

    AndrewAndrewBulan Yang lalu
    • Andrew there have been a few people that have commented saying the 75ts have a tighter fit than the 65ts despite it not having the little fin sticking out. To me it looks like the little thing sticking out of the 65ts doesn't do much to hold it in. The Jaybirds have a fin that actually sticks up against your inner ear which gives it the most secure fit. So I think the Jabyirds and the Jabra 75ts both would fit better than the 75ts but if you're really worried about them falling out you're better off going with the Jaybirds. Those babies stayed on my ear no matter what, even during the head banger test I did in the video. They don't feel super tight but the fin keeps them from moving.

  • I’m torn between these, the Jabra Elite 75T, and the JBL300 TWS. Biggest thing for me is fitment, I’ve used AirPod pros and the constantly fall out of my ears. Primary use would be for the gym and work(construction) so I would either use just 1 ear bud or something that would keep me aware of my surroundings. Any suggestions?

    Le PongLe PongBulan Yang lalu
    • Yeah unfortunately since everybody's ear is slightly different you'll never know till you try, just like buying a pair of shoes online. If you buy them from Amazon you have 30 days to return for a full refund no questions asked, which is more than enough time to decide. Good luck, hope they fit you!

      1Life2Lift1Life2LiftBulan Yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift thanks for the reply! I guess I’ll give the Jabras a shot. It’s already been weird for me to find earbuds that actually stay in my ear for some reason. I guess I can always return them if I don’t like them.

      Le PongLe PongBulan Yang lalu
    • Hey Le! I have not tried the JBLs so I'm not sure how they fit, but they have the same basic design as the Jabras. I would bet the Jabras would have a slightly more snug fit since that was a selling point of the 75ts is the increased snug fit vs the 65ts (which several people have commented saying this is true). If you only have 1 earbud in be aware that both the JBLs and the Jabras use a master/slave function which means you can use one earbud but it has to be the right earbud since that is the master earbud. I like that the JBLs are more waterproof (IPX5) than the Airpods (IPX4) but they still aren't as waterproof as the Jabras (IP57). So basically the Jabras beat out the JBLs in a few extra categories and now with the update they have things like active noise cancellation in addition to the ambient awareness, so I don't see why you would choose the JBLs over the Jabras. FYI: In terms of fit, the Jaybirds offer the most secure fit because of the fin design and they allow you to use either earbud independently (and they cost less than the Jabras) so if that's more important than hearing construction sounds go with those, but I would only do that if you buy the Jabras and you notice they start falling out a lot. First choice: Jabras Second choice: Jaybirds

  • WoW! What a fantastic review! Went to BB just this morning & bought the Jabra elite 75t's.(not active)I had already done my homework here on youTube but hadn't watched your vid until just now. As you said the Elites have a listed price of $179. but on sale for $119, today, at least. What a steal! I am upgrading from the 65 t's. (Not enough base for me.) And considering the price difference over the new 85 t's, just not worth it for my taste. So thanks again for your fantastic video. And you have a new subscriber too. Keep up the excellent work. Bruce in Michigan.

    BoogalliBoogalliBulan Yang lalu
    • Thanks for the sub Bruce! Yeah I think they've dropped in price since the 85t's came out, but IMO the 75ts are almost as good for a lot less $$, not to mention the 85ts are no longer as waterproof. Now if they had fixed the master/slave issues that would have maybe made it worth considering. But honestly the slightly better ANC is not much of a reason to upgrade (they mostly likely just wanted to compete with the AirPods ANC). Still think the 75t actives are the best on the market. I'm really looking forward to what the Jaybirds and other companies due next year to close the gap. For now I feel like Jabra dropped the ball with the 85ts. Anyways good to hear from another Michigander! Thanks for stopping by to comment :)

It was me StotlerIt was me StotlerBulan Yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift I agree that for most people ip57 is probably all they would need, however there are people like me who like to have music while they swim or shower, at that point saying that ip57 is the best on the market while it is really nice comes across as really disingenuous and as if you hadn’t done your research. oh and the reason I pointed this out is because with ip7 or ip57 the best you can do is 30 minutes or up to a meter of depth before the internals flood and get destroyed. That is why I pointed it out, ipx8 is fully waterproof and ip57 is only thirty minutes or one meter of depth.

It was me StotlerIt was me StotlerBulan Yang lalu
    • Ok I see your point, there are in fact IP 8 rated earbuds but I think 7 is all you need, which is more along the lines of what I was getting at; that the Jabras/Jaybirds are the most you'll need in terms of waterproofing. Most other premium like the Airpods and Sonys earbuds are just barely creeping up to a level 4 or 5 rating. But IMO as soon as you are able to full submerge them in water it seems overkill to have the IP 8 level unless you're going diving to a greater water pressure. It was never my intention to "straight lie" to people though, I simply had not heard of the TaoTronics, which sound like a nice product, albeit cheaper.

      1Life2Lift1Life2LiftBulan Yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift you had said that they are the most water proof true wireless buds on the market, put simply this is false, taotronic has made the sound liberty’s 79, 88, 92, which are all truly wireless and completely water proof, the issue with what you said is in saying those buds are the most water proof truly wireless buds on the market you may have unintentionally convinced people not to look around for more water proof buds. Other than that I really enjoyed the video, if in your other videos you have done more research then you indeed do deserve more subscribers than you have.

It was me StotlerIt was me StotlerBulan Yang lalu
    • How did I lie? I think you are mistaken. I discussed the entire IP rating scale and how the Jabras and Jaybirds have a level 7 rating, which allows them to be fully submerged in water (but not level 8 for diving under extreme water pressure). I never even mention the Spund Liberty so how could I have possibly lied about them?

  • Thank you for the amazing review! What do you think of the Sony WF-SP800N as a competitor to these two?

    AdamAdamBulan Yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift Hello, thank you for the thorough answer. I went with the Jabra Elite 75t since I was able to get it on sale for 99 euros :). The biggest factor to me was the smaller size. I live in a cold country so outside I am going to be wearing a hat for half of the year, and the Sony's looked like they would be extremely uncomfortable under an over the ear hat, since they pop out from your ear so much. Have you had experience with the Jabras while wearing a hat over them?

      AdamAdamBulan Yang lalu
    • Hey Adam, you're welcome! The 800N is nice. It was released after I made this video and I may have actually compared it to the Jabras rather than the Jaybirds because it does a lot of what the Jaybirds and Jabras do, it's just not IP rated Level 7 for complete waterproofing. It beats Jabra slighlt in battery life (9 hrs vs 7.5) and it has L/R independence which only the Jaybirds have, not the Jabras. CONS: *it's IP55 which means it's one level better water resistance than most of the other earbuds like AirPods, PowerBeats etc which are IPX4 but IMO I'd rather have IP57 with the full level 7 waterproofing that can be fully submerged in water so I have that piece of mind. *Touch sensor controls. I prefer physical controls because touch ones can be finicky especially if you have gloves on when you're running outside. PROs: **9 hours of battery life is amazing, so if this is the most important thing then these might not be a bad choice. ** Like the Jabras, it has ANC, ambient awareness so those are a tie. Basically, if battery life is King, go with the Sony's. But for me personally the waterproofing is non-negotiable, so I went with the Jabras.

  • Jlab been ok. They cost less. When they are on sale. The first jlab wireless headphones work for few weeks or a 2 months .then one side die on me. So waite till I save more money.waite till studio wirless head phones goes to 35 hours.feel better on my ear. I can't afford. Buds wirless. I used some other Bluetooth around my beak. Headbuds.didn't last that long. I am picky. I go for those really works.last longer.doesn't dies on me.

    • This video was meant for Gym goers not long distance endurance athletes like ultra marathoners or swimmers (thus the title of Gym goers). The JLab sports are not true wireless earbirds, they have a cord which hands around your neck. I don't like the cord on my neck personally. I used to have a pair like that which I referenced in the videos (The Jaybirds X2s that I accidentally put in my washer). I do like the battery life on the jlab sport but I don't think a lot of people watching this video go for 20+ hour runs where the extra battery life is essential. A 7.5-9 hr battery is plenty to last people the whole day before needing to charge.

    • Lol glad you got the Jibber Jabber reference in my video. I have literally over a hundred video ideas written down that I'd like to work on but until I can do YT full time they remain in queue, but I do plan on doing some shorter motivational videos (psychology/philosophy) around New Year's and the my plan was to start rolling out some meal prep guides for nutrition (and maybe even review some nutrition products eventually) so stay tuned for that. I will say right now though, that for strength and conditioning for runners make sure you do some hip abduction exercises to avoid the Trellenberg gait, you want to avoid swaying the pelvis from side to side. I might do a Treadmilk buying guide I the future or at least point out good features for shock absorption and avoid knee issues. I hope to have a little mini playlist for each type of person though (runner's, bodybuilders, powerlifters, athletes, beginners, advanced) etc but all in good time!

    • Thanks Jampper! Yeah unfortunately I think the finless design is inherently prone to falling out unless they add some kinda of suction cup or something lol. The Jaybird's fin is fairly minimalistic but it does a good job IMO. I'm super interested to see if the Vistas answer back to the Jabra 75ts though because they sure added a bunch of cool features for free like ANC and hearthrough/ambient awareness tech. Conversely Jabra needs to really iron out their Master/Slave functionality and be like the Jaybirds. Hopefully both companies will get closer and closer to the perfect earbud. But for now enjoy those Jaybirds! 😀👍

    • If you sweat profusely I'd be mildly hesitant with the IPX4 rating because there's nothing worse than stashing your buds in rice after their warranty is up. I had to do this with my FitBit back in the day which was IPX4 and it's shaken my confidence in the "sweat proof" rating. Honestly I prefer the Jabras but can't guarantee they'll fit the same way in my ear as they do with your ear. I'm lucky and I don't sweat much in my ear area but others have said it's less secure if you sweat in/around the ear. The only thing I'd worry about in B-Ball would be them falling out during a game where someone steps on them, but the ambient awareness feature is pretty sweet for when you're just shooting hoops and you want to hear what's going in around you. The only time my Jabras ever get loose is when I open my mouth real wide (like when I scream to psych myself up for a deadlift). Other than that they stay in great. If you buy the Jabras and they don't pass the HIIT/pickup game test just return them in the first 30 days with Amazon. You won't know for sure until you try. If those don't work then the Jaybird should do the trick.

    • @1Life2Lift i'm actually a personal trainer and used to workout really hard with hiit circuits.. plus i love to run and play basketball.. so i was searching for something i can use in every situation, with nice water protection, and nice sound for music and calls... for example i like more the over ear design of the powerbeats pro, but i have samsung so i know is worst for them, plus they are just IPX4

Although they really need to have that little caribiner clip on their case to attach to your keys, then they'd really be perfect (although they'll never be as securely fit as something with a fin like the Jaybirds but the sleek form factor is what they're going for, I guess)

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift2 bulan yang lalu
  • I really appreciate your video. For me the Jabras not being independently controlled was a deal breaker and that's because my job allows us to use headphones but we can only have one earbud in at a time.

Cesar RiveraCesar Rivera2 bulan yang lalu
    • Yeah it's a bummer they couldn't nail down the L/R independence feature. They were going to add it via a firmware update but they said it was too buggy. They have added ANC and the Custom EQ via firmware updates though, so it's good to see they support their existing products, but yeah once they figure out their master/slave issues they're going to have a pretty hard product to beat. That being said the Jaybirds sound great and have a slightly more secure fit so they're also a great choice that I think you'll be happy with (plus they're cheaper too!)

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift2 bulan yang lalu
  • Very nice and complete review. You definitely deserve more subs. I have both models, but ended using the Jaybirds as my main running earbuds for two main reasons and a minor one: Main 1: Jabras still designed with master-slave architecture, with master tied to the right earbud. This system is absolutely outdated, and prevents you from using your sportswatch on the left wrist when running outdoors, due to constant micro-cuts in the connection. This is not an issue indoors, where the signal rebound allows the right side to receive without problems. Yes, you can switch the watch to the right wrist (i have to do it when running with the Jabras) but if you are used like me to wear your training watch on the left wrist, this is annoying. Jabra said after lunch they would implement dual reception in a future firmware update, but they have recently stated that is never going to happen. They haven´t even done it in the new 85t either, absolutely nonsense. The Jaybirds receive through both sides flawlessly, zero cuts outdoors, connection is rock solid. Main 2: The sound. In my humble opinion, the Jaybirds have a richer sound quality in every spectrum. I consider myself a bit of an audiophile, and even though we are talking about tiny shitty speakers here, i was really surprised with the results i got after tunning a bit the Vista´s EQ. I tried everything with the Jabras, the results are always meh. Minor: Adjust. Jabras adjust perfectly in my ears but after a while, with the sweat, they start slowly sliding out from the ear. I have to re-adjust into the ears from time to time. This is absolutely subjective, as everyone has different ears and this may not happen. On the other hand, Jabras are way more comfortable. The rubber fin in the Jaybirds can be a bit uncomfortable during the long sessions, after 90 minutes or so. The rest of the features in the Jabras are amazing. Battery, the hearthrough (i miss it a lot when using the Vista), the looks... i also prefer the Jabras buttons by far. I wish they made a Jabras version with dual reception and improved audio. That would be a beast of a device.

    DiegoDiego2 bulan yang lalu
    • Diego that's useful to know the issue with the watch. I know they probably made the master/slave function more for right handed people who wear their watch on the left wrist for that particular reason. You aren't alone in saying the Jaybirds don't fall out as easy. From my testing thr Jabras didn't stay in as well, although for me I don't sweat that much in/around my ears so it never was an issue, although I did have someone else who commented saying the same thing you said (with sweat being an issue). And yeah I was bummed that they scrapped the firmware update to get rid of the master/slave (they said it was too buggy to release) but I'm hopefully for next year's model. If they can fix that they'll have one hell of a pair of earbuds.

    • Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to leave a positive comment. I wouldn't really recommend the 65t actives..maybe if it were 3 or 4 years ago but they're a bit outdated now. The battery life is worse (-2.5 hours), the waterproof is slightly worse IP56 instead of IP57...both are way better than other headphones like airpods which are only IPX4 aka splash proof). The 65t's offered an accelerometer that could count reps but was not super reliable. If you're looking for something cheaper in the price range of the 65Ts I would just go with the Jaybirds since they're better in every way than the 65t. However Jabra did just update their 75t to include active noise cancellation and custom EQ which makes them worth the extra money (in addition to other features).

Matthew CorreiaMatthew Correia2 bulan yang lalu
    • Oh noooo, that sucks dude! And it's always the left one people seem to lose, which makes the whole thing useless due to the master/slave combination. I think the real issue they have is they NEED an auditory beep to help you locate lost earbuds (like the Tile app I use to find my loaf carkeys). The GPS function on the charging case is almost useless unless you had the buds inside already. If it's one thing I would be more harsh on in the review it would be that they need to rehaul their locating abilities completley.

    lakeslakes2 bulan yang lalu
    • One of the many small factoids and/or side tangents I cut out of this video was one where I also mentioned how wind noise effects the ambient awareness mode. So if I'm running in my subdivision where there are trees blocking out high winds I can hear cars just fine, which like I said is amazing for safety reasons, but if I'm at the park in the open fields and the wind kicks up the mic picks that up as noise (and technically the Jabras do have a feature that's supposed to filter out the wind, it is still annoying because the mic is going to get blasted because it would need one of the fuzzy wind filters to mask out the wind, the kind you see on professional boom mics and videographers etc). It would be cool if they had a "windy day" mode or some kind of wind filter you could slip on if needed. Anyways I think you'll enjoy the Jaybirds, just be careful and you should be ok! 😉 P.S. If you buy them, consider using my affiliate link. P.P.S. Appreciate you taking the time to comment, thanks "Lakes"!

I left it a bit louder range because I figured people listening on smartphone speakers would barely hear it, but I think I adjusted it a bit too high. To see if it was a fluke though perhaps you can watch a few minutes of my latest product review on the EMS an stim unit and let me know if that also sounds too loud. It also would have been awesome if you could put an overview of everything at the end when you tell us who the winner is. Thanks for the great review! Subbed!

    • Hm, perhaps this video ended up being a bit louder than I anticipated. When editing the audio comes last and my listening experience varies a bit from the viewer. Try watching the next product review in my playlist (the one on EMS ab stim) and let me know if it sounds consistently as loud (i.e. too loud). I'm curious if it was just this one that was off. Sometimes I adjust each track to the perfect volume and then I adjust the master track which affects all music tracks at once so perhaps it was a fluke. I'm sure with your feedback I can get it right in that sweet spot! :)

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift3 bulan yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift wow, you put so much effort in! Wished other reviewers cared about quality like you do and also wished other viewers would appreciate it more. also thanks so much for the info! I will be looking out for the updated version of the jabras. Actually I listened to your video with my laptop speakers. The volume, that is just my opinion. It is just a small issue. I prefer music that is actually very soft because I want it to actually stay in the background and I think it only received my attention because this was a video longer than 15 minutes. If you don't want to turn the volume down anymore, I wanna suggest that you choose another softer type of music. The tracks weren't that bad, I just have bad hearing when there is lots of background noise and it took some concentration for me to distinguish your voice. so maybe it's just me.

Viv WallaceViv Wallace3 bulan yang lalu
    • Hey Viv, thanks for all the great feedback. Did you listen with headphones on? Since it was such a long vid I tried to use the music to make it feel shorter. Sometimes it can be tricky getting the audio levels right. For example it sounds fairly loud when listening on headphones but when I play it on a phone speaker any softer and the music becomes undetectable. I'll experiment with slightly softer decibels, auto-ducking, and using narrow banded compression in the mid vocal range to see if that helps. About the test call audio. It didn't sound that great in either product, nor did I notice much difference between the two. It ended up getting cut due to time along with many other clips that made this video over an hour long originally. If you are worried about the call quality go with the Jabras since they probably were a headset company and they have more mics onboard. P.S. The Jabras are also due for an update this month that adds in Active Noise Cancellation so check that out.

  • Jaybird Vista or jabara elite active 75t which should I get???

    T1M3 DredT1M3 Dred3 bulan yang lalu
    • I'd say the Jabras for sure, because they're updating them with a free Active Noise Cancellation firmware update which makes them pretty much have every feature on the market now. The Jaybirfs biggest advantages were the L/R independence (which only factors in if you lose an earbud) and maybe their cool keychain feature (which I got around bu buying a silicone case for the Jabras that I linked in the description) so it hooks onto my keys now.

  • Did u ever find a way to stop the itching? My jabras are really starting to get to me now

    RomieRomie3 bulan yang lalu
    • Romie, I'll be honest I rarely get the itching now. When I first got my Jabras I experienced ear fatigue and frequent (every 15-20 minutes needed to scratch). I think my ears just got used to it because now I rarely need to scratch (maybe once every hour or two?). And my ears don't fatigue much at all. I know that doesn't help much if your ears continue to itch but if you've had them more than 20 days and they still itch then perhaps return them and try the Jaybirds which have a much more relaxed fit. Have you tried using the different sized earbuds? It's possible each ear might be a different size.

    • Yeah I loved my Jaybirds! I'm excited to see what they come out with in the future. I did end up keeping the Jabras though for some minor reasons I mentioned in the video, and one thing I like about Jabra is they're always updating it. They seem to have the pulse of the industry so to speak, listening to feedbaxk. They're adding ANC as a feature to the 75ts for free next month. Anyways in another year or two it's going to be very interesting to see who comes out on top once everybody starts to adopt features like IPX7x hesrthrough and ANC as standard practice.

  • Did you try Powerbeats pro? I think they’re hands down the best for working out.

    illogikillogik3 bulan yang lalu
    • Ilogok, I agree the Powerbeats Pro are one of the best, but for me I ruled them out of the Top 2 because they are $50 - 100 more expensive, have the over the ear design which some may not like (although it is the most secure), and they are only splash resistant (IPX4). It's also hard to beat a company like Jabra that does constant firmware updates to support their products after launch - just this month they'll be adding active noise cancellation to the Jabra 75ts with a free update.

    • 1Life2Lift Yes, they could have just said “hey guys, buy our new 85t’s if you want ANC”, but they didn’t. That’s really amazing. Plus from what I have heard from reviews, it’s really good ANC too that rivals the best of the best out there, not just some gimmick tacked on afterwards.

    • The specs (battery life, sound quality and customization) look the same as Jabra but they have ANC. So if you think ANC is worth the extra $100 go with the Sennheisers but be aware they are only splash resistant (IPX4) and not submersible and essentially waterproof like the Jabras (IP57 is as good as they get). As I said in the video, I don't care that much about ANC as long as there is an ambient awareness mode for safety. 95% of the time I need to hear my surroundings rather than block them out. Gym earbuds don't really benefit that much from ANC and the passive noise cancellation is basically like wearing earplugs anyways. But hey if you want it all and you want to spend the extra $100 go with the Sennheisers. (P.S. Be careful though I've heard they have a noticeable audio lag when watching IDworlds videos but I can't confirm this)

      TjoppyTjoppy4 bulan yang lalu
    • Wow you're right, good catch! Yes I meant to say Jabras! Lol Nobody has pointed that out yet. They sound so close together that I kept accidentally saying one in place of the other and redoing takes, but this one slipped through the cracks. So just to clarify: The Jabras require you to twist slightly to get them to fit in snug but the Jaybirds do not. I updated the description to include this under "CORRECTIONS".

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift4 bulan yang lalu
  • Yeah, seriously the jabra are bad, really bad. I bought them and they had more problem than anything: -Hissing noise in left ear while in idle -Crackling noise when you adjust volume -Popping sound when you remove right bud You could say i got a Faulty model, but if you go on the subreddit of jabra and on various forums it seems like there is a really high chance you'll get a faulty model; some people even changed them 2 times having the same problem over and over

    OwlishOwlish4 bulan yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift you're right, today i probably searched for 2/3 hours a pair that could be even close to them but with no result, it's truly a pity that such good earbuds have some really stupid bug. Btw don't think i wanted to criticize you, the video was great, i thought you had more than 100k subs even if i usually don't subscribe to channels i subbed to support you👍

      OwlishOwlish4 bulan yang lalu
    • Yeah I'm sorry dude, I get the frustration when you're buying something premium and it has bugs. I want trying mislead anyone, but maybe I'm just weird but the hissing didn't bother me so long as it wasn't during my music or video watching. If you bought them off Amazon you can return them no questions asked and try out something else. There's really nothing else in the $200 or less price range that has the same features (Jaybirds are close but not as many features). They sell other earbuds that perform close to the Jabras but they're about $300 - 400 and not worth it IMO.

      1Life2Lift1Life2Lift4 bulan yang lalu
    • @1Life2Lift yeah i think it's a bit subjective but i wanted a Pair of headphones which could be used at the gym and while studying. Usually i used them to isolate myself but the noise gets truly on my nerves, i consider them "Really bad" because the cost shouldn't allow something so stupid for 200€ i consider them "Premium". I'm also mad because i truly loved these pair of earbuds, design and sound were so good i tried my best not to care but i couldn't

      OwlishOwlish4 bulan yang lalu
    • "Really bad" seems a bit harsh IMO. I also get the small hiss when idling, but none of the crackling or popping you described. I don't enjoy the hissing but it does remind me I'm wasting battery when I leave them on idle too long. It's definitely more of a bug than a feature, but I thought it was small enough of a feature to leave it out of my already too long review. It seemed like nitpicking to me especially when you considered all the other great features. I didn't experience the idling noise with the Jaybirds though, so perhaps you should try those instead.

  • The Jabra Elite 75t Active's are about 265 usd in my country, while the Jaybird Vista's are 166 usd

    *Ice**Ice*4 bulan yang lalu
    • Yeah the Jaybirds have come down in price since I posted this video (they are about 15% cheaper than the Jabras in the US), but they are not 50% more expensive, that's a huge disparity! FYI My intention was to find the best true wireless earbuds that could compete in the same price range as the Airpods Pro and both the Jabras and Jaybirds blow the Airpods out of the water in both cost and functionality. I still prefer the Jabras but I loved the Jaybirds. If they had been that much cheaper when I made this review I may have had a harder time picking the Jabras. But for me personally Jabra had all the features I was looking for, and even more expensive earbuds than the Jabras didn't check off as many boxes so I'd still feel confident buying the Jabras even if they were more expensive. Anyways, thanks for letting me know of the price difference, ice! :)

  • Great Review. I received the Jabra Elite 75T and the Jaybird Vistas today. My main deal is music quality. I have a lot of music experience playing and composing. I know what sounds good to me. The Jabras have a lot of functionality is true, however, for my ears a cymbal crash should not sound like a shhh It should sound more like an essss as in satin. Sound is subjective and I find the Jaybird app has a myriad of alternative settings of EQ from the Discoveries section. Even with the Customization for My Sound in the Jabra app , I find the difference between the Jaybird version Personal EQ to be very different to my ears. I need to do more testing but for now I have to stick with my Jaybirds for sound quality. The other features don't mean much to me. Keep up the great reviews

Bob BennicelliBob Bennicelli4 bulan yang lalu
    • Ah, thank you for the added insight Bob. It's interesting that you say sound is the most important quality you are looking for. I've heard other true wireless earbuds are more for the audiophiles out there (Sony's for example), the Jaybirds and Jabras are more of your jack of all trades type rather than your robust sound type. My only sound experience is mixing audio on Audition for my IDworlds and Podcast shows so I am no audiophile. If I were looking for good balanced sound I would just use my wired monitor earbuds or better yet by AT M40Xs, but neither of those would be well suited for workout needs. For me as long as the sound has enough volume and comes in clear it is not a huge deal. I am also hamstringed by my apparent inability to hear bass very well (according to the sound test I did on the Jabras). This also may explain why the Jabras sound better to me because they have a bassier profile.

    • Thanks Andrei! :D Sennheiser Momentums look subpar to me. Only 4 hour battery life, only slash proof (will probably stop working a few months if you sweat profusely). The Beoplay ones look awesome with 7 hr battery, IP57 (waterproof/dustproof) just like Jabras. But they aren't in the $200 or less category that I used to make this video. I personally wouldn't pay an extra $150 for a pair of earbuds that pack the same punch as the Jabras, but other than price they look goodl!
