And this my friends is why you field test all emergency supplies and check them regularly. Emergency preparedness is priceless, Steve obviously never had any sort of emergency plan or in the very least never practiced it. One of the big things at survival school was putting ourselves into those situations to gain the first hand experience responding rather than depend on having learned the information.
