It was swapped, it originally only comes with an inline 4. I believe they put in a v6 from a lotus or a Lexus es300

Lotus Elise has the same type of scoop system up front and is mid engine as well
its not for the engine ahah. They're for aerodynamics. Air travels from the slit at the bottom of the front bumper up through the hood to create a downforce effect on the front axle, allowing for more grip and stability at high speeds.
He also cut holes in the front slam panel to allow air to pass through the radiator and out through the hood

@Edward Hernandez Odd place to ask a question like that. These builds are one-offs not projects for some punk in his garage to get started on. Once again what I said still stands: if you have to ask how much this car is then you can't get it. Projects like this are done because the owner wants to make it happen no matter the expense. If that's you then why the hell would you ask the cost? If you want it bad enough start fucking building your own. Sensibilities like sticker shock go out the window when get into projects like this but you've clearly demonstrated you don't have any experience with that. You're like that annoying dumbass kid that walks on the car lot and acts like he's interested in the tricked out sports car that he knows he can't afford.
